St Neots Charity Stall, August 2017
On Friday 11th and Saturday 12th August 2017, shipmates from St Neots Branch manned a charity stall at Morrison’s superstore at Cambourne.
The First and Second Port watches were carried out by shipmates Mike Noble, Jim Lawson, Geoff Patterson and the Branch President, John Gibbs. Comments received were that seeing the gents ‘closed up for action’ showed that after all these years, they are ‘still looking good on parade.’
The First Starboard Watch was manned ‘entirely by the Junior Service’. The boys (and girls) in light blue, all ex-RAF, but now Associate or Honorary members of the RNA, were shipmates Janet Gould, Colin Marsh and Alys Marsh.
Finally, the Second Starboard Watch comprised of shipmates Tom Mumford and Harry Bellars RM who enjoyed ‘meeting and greeting the public.’
