Once everyone was seated within All Saints Church, Reverend Andrew Milton welcomed the Chairman and her guests, who in turn spoke to all in attendance and thanked all who were taking part.

The service comprised of a number of readings by representatives of the 423rd Air Base Group (USAF), Huntingdonshire District Council, local business, St John’s Ambulance (by the Chairman’s Cadet, the youngest speaker for the evening), the Deputy Lord Lieutenant (Col Derek Bristow), Cambridgeshire Reserve Forces and Cadets Association, RAF Wyton (Sqn Ldr Marcus Hicks), and finally by the Samaritans.

Hymns sung by the congregation were: Once in Royal David’s City, Hark, the Herald-angels Sing, It Came Upon the Midnight Clear, Away in a Manger, O Come, All Ye Faithful, In the Bleak Mid-winter, As With Gladness, Men of Old, and finally, O Little Town of Bethlehem.

The Reverend Andrew Milton gave the last reading before handing over to the Venerable Hugh McCurdy, Archdeacon of Huntingdon & Wisbech to give the final Address to all. Once the Service had completed, all guests were invited to a reception in the Town Hall.
