New meeting venue for Huntingdon & District Branch

As of the 4th November 2015, Huntingdon & District Branch, Royal Naval Association, will meet in the Falcon Tavern, 10 Market Hill, Huntingdon. Cambridgeshire. PE29 3NR. Meetings take place at 2000 on the first Wednesday of every month.

The Falcon, thought to be the oldest pub in Huntingdon, closed in 2008 and fell into disrepair. The 16th Century inn was reputedly a Civil War headquarters for Cromwell, who was born in the town in 1599 (BBC News, click here to view the full article). There are disabled parking bays nearby (Princess Street), but for others travelling by car you should park in Sainsbury’s car park or the small parking area off Hartford Road (see the Branch Webpage for an interactive map).
