RNA Tot Nights – Virtual Meetings

On Wednesday 15th April 2020, shipmates from the Royal Naval Association met online for a Tot. Shortly after the Coronavirus restictions were put in place, shipmate Kevin Hackett from Wrexham RNA propsed an idea for a shipmate to host a live stream on the Royal Naval Association Community Site’s Facebook page. Shipmates were then able to comment and post pictures whilst the host gave a toast to Her Majesty The Queen, The RNA and Absent Friends. This has since been extended to include the NHS and Key Workers.

For the meeting on the 15th, the method of joining in was improved by the use of Zoom COnferencing facility. This allowed shipmates to have a two-way conversation and of course to raise a glass together.
