S/M Keith Jones, Chairman Chesham & Amersham Branch RNA, has sadly Crossed the Bar

S/M Tim Pridham, Chesham & Amersham Branch, Royal Naval Association has the sad message for shipmates:

Sadly, our Branch Chairman S/M Keith Jones, crossed the bar last Saturday, 23rd of February.

S/M Keith Jones, LS(S), served in the RN from 1971-1981.  He joined HMS Ganges in November 1972.  Keith served in HMS HARDY, BRISTOL, SHEFFIELD, and CINC FLET Norhwood.  He left the Navy in March 1981, but continued working at NATO HQ Northwood as a civilian until 2016.

Keith spent many years serving in the Chiltern Sea Cadet Unit (T.S. ARROW), including as Officer in Charge.  He served as Vice-Chair and Chairman of Chesham & Amersham RNA.

He will be sadly missed by his shipmates and all who knew him.
