Shipmate Ron Woods, funeral arrangements and invitation

On Wednesday 17th April 2019, No 6 Area shipmates were informed that our former No 6 Area Treasurer, S/M Ron Woods, had Crossed the Bar at 1100 that morning.

Ron was our Area Treasurer for over 15 years, retiring in 2016 due to ill health. His Branch, Aldenham merged with Luton & Dunstable Branch a long time back. Ron was not only the Aldenham Branch Standard Bearer, but also until 2010, No. 6 Area Deputy Standard Bearer.

Ron’s funeral will take place at Milton Keynes Crematorium (MK8 0AH) on Friday 10th May 2019 at 1515.

Ron’s family have requested RNA Standards, we would also like to see shipmates attending and give Ron the send-off that he deserves.
