After the main remembrance service, S/Ms Mike Milne and Keith & Maureen Ridley attended a remembrance service in St Neots cemetery for Polish servicemen stationed at a Polish Field Hospital in Diddington, who died just after World War II from various conditions, mainly contracted during the war. A delegation from Poland also attended the service along with members of 2500 (St Neots) Squadron Air Training Corps.

After the Polish remembrance service, all retired to the aptly named Poppies Tearoom for a welcome cup of tea and cakes. S/Ms Maureen and Keith Ridley weren’t finished though, as they then attended remembrance services and laid wreaths at Eaton Socon and Gravely war memorials.

A truly memorable day – BZ to all those who attended.

We will remember them!
